Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Here are some pictures that were taken in Yosemite National Park, while I was there to hike Half Dome with Katherine, Stefan and Mike. We walked for 19 miles (about 30km) under a grueling heat. But we survived! The original name of the peak, as the Ahwahnechee people called it, is Tis-sa-ack or Tissiack, possibly named after a legendary figure of a woman who drank all the water in mirror lake and was beat by her angry husband. That is a sad story for a beautiful peak! Thankfully, we had a more peaceful visit.
