We took the road less travelled this summer and drove up California State Route 108 which leads to the Sonora Pass in the Sierra Nevada. We explored the area around Pinecrest Lake which is just gorgeous, Donnell Lake and the Eagle Meadow. We also saw a very cool rock structure called the Column of Giants.
